Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable beautiful finishing of a boundary between the cuff and the body part of the sleeve of a shirt, such as a washed dress shirt, without spending time and labor in setting work.SOLUTION: A shirt sleeve finishing machine includes: a pair of left and right sleeve stands 3 for putting sleeves 2 of a shirt 1 thereon; press irons 4 which are provided in the rear of the sleeve stands 3, and which press and finish body parts 2a of the sleeves 2 set on the sleeve stands 3; and a shirt presser 5 which pushes down a part between the sleeve 2 and the sleeve 2 of the shirt 1 put on the sleeve stands 3 to tension the sleeves 2 downward. A clamper 6 for fixing a cuff 2b of each sleeve 2 is provided on a cuff set part 3a on the upper part of each sleeve stand 3. The sleeve stand 3 is provided with a driving device 13 for vertically moving the cuff set part 3a. The cuff set part 3a is moved up by the driving device 13 so as to be capable of stretching a boundary 2c between the cuff 2b and the body part 2a of the sleeve 2.
