Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel including an exhaust emission control device that collects particulate (PM) contained in an exhaust gas to remove NOx by reduction.SOLUTION: The shovel includes: a boom and an arm driven by a hydraulic pump; a diesel engine 1; a diesel particulate filter 16 provided downstream of a turbocharger 8 to clean the exhaust gas from the diesel engine 1 before it is discharged into an atmosphere; and a selective reduction catalyst 19 provided downstream of the diesel particulate filter 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
