To provide ice bank measures of a showcase capable of effectively suppressing occurrence and abnormal growth of an ice bank in a refrigerant pipe passage that is connected to an evaporation coil unit and pulled around and piped to a side of the unit only by applying a simple structure alteration to a blast course in a warehouse.

In the cold air circulation type showcase, the fin-tube-shaped evaporation coil unit 4 is arranged in a cold air circulation ventilation passage partitioned in the warehouse of a case body, a fan plenum 5 having a fan 6 is arranged on the inlet side thereof, and cold air is circulated and ventilated into the warehouse through the fan plenum and evaporation coil unit. A ventilation hole 5a is formed in a wall on a wind channel side of the fan plenum, a wind direction plate 13 is disposed outside the wind channel that faces the ventilation hole, and air blowing off to the side of the wind tunnel through the ventilation hole during cold insulation operation is guided to a refrigerant pipe passage pulled around and piped in a side space of an evaporation coil, thereby preventing occurrence of frost formation and ice bank on the refrigerant pipe passage.
