Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a weft at instantaneous timing just after the passage of the end portion of a woven fabric to minimize defects and weft loss due to the loosening of the weft.
SOLUTION: A holding member 1, 11 for holding a weft X is attached to a beating member 10, and a cam mechanism DK1 for stopping a rapier R at the end 6a of a yarn-feeding other side tape guide 6 on the side of the woven fabric S is disposed in a three-dimensional crank mechanism SK. The weft X is held with the holding member 1, 11 in a rapier R-stopped state, and a pressure-releasing member T1 releases a pressure from a grip lever R3 in the rapier R-stopped state. Then, the beating member 10 to which the holding member 1, 11 holding the weft is attached is swung to deliver the weft to a catching member 21.
