Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor, and a signal processing method, with improved filtering performance.SOLUTION: A signal processor includes: a filter; a detection part for detecting power of a signal outputted from the filter; a determination part for determining a numerical range to which power detected by the detection part belongs, within a plurality of numerical ranges; a renewal part for renewing a filter coefficient of the filter, based on a determination result of the determination part; a counting part for counting the number of the signals whose power, detected by the detection part, is equal to a predetermined value or more; and a control part for setting an ineffective region, which is out of determination target for each of boundaries for the plurality of numerical ranges, and controls the width of the ineffective region based on the number of signals, if the number of the signals counted by the counting part becomes a constant number or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
