PURPOSE: To obtain the silver halide color photographic sensitive material superior in blue color reproduction performance provided with a transparent magnetic recording layer by incorporating a specified acetanilide type coupler in a photographic constituent layer.

CONSTITUTION: At least one of the photographic constituent layers contains a coupler represented by formula I or the acylacetanilide type coupler having a partial structure represented by formula II. In formulae I and II, R1 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 5-membered unsaturated hetero ring together with a group of formula III; Z is the moiety of formula I; R2 is H, alkyl, or the like; R3 is alkyl, alkenyl, or the like; each of R4 and R5 is H, alkenyl, or the like: X is a group to be released by coupling with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent; Z1 is an N or O atom, and when it is the O atom, R2 is absent; R101 is a monovalent group; and Q11 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 3-6 membered hydrocarbon ring car such a hetero ring having one of hetero atoms, such as N, O, S, and P in the ring together with the C.
