Abstract:

To provide a sine wave generating circuit which generates a highly accurate sine wave with a relatively simple circuit.

The sine wave generating circuit comprises a clock generation circuit 10 which generates clocks C1 to Ck of 2n-1 phases having a phase shift of π/2n (n is an integer of 2 or more), 2n-1 current sources 20-1 to 20-k provided corresponding to the clocks of 2n-1 phases and having a prescribed current ratio with each other, and 2n-1 switches which perform switching of the 2n-1 current sources by corresponding clocks of 2n-1 phases. The sine wave generating circuit is further provided with a weighting current adder circuit 30 which adds the currents flowing through the 2n-1 switches, and a current input filter 40 which receives the current added by the weighting current adder circuit and removes high frequency components.
