PURPOSE: A skin external preparation having raised endermic absorption properties of a cationic water-soluble drug, obtained by adding an acidic oil-soluble substance and/or its salt to a base.
CONSTITUTION: A cationic water-soluble drug (drug having ≥6.5 pKa, an amount of water to dissolve 1g of the drug at 25°C is <10ml ; hypnotic sedative such as flurazepam hydrochloride, etc., anti-inflammatory analgesic such as tramadol hydrochloride, etc., tranquilizer such as clomipramine hydrochloride, etc.) is blended with at least one of an acidic oil-soluble substance and its salt (e.g., aliphatic carboxylic acid, thioglycolic acid, pantothenic acid, etc.) in a weight ratio of 0.05W100:1 to give a skin external preparation having raised endermic absorption properties of drug. An ointment, aerosol, lotion, cataplasm, tape agent, etc., are used as the dosage form.
