Abstract:

To reduce friction between two mutually facing slide surfaces.

A slide mechanism 1 includes: a metallic flat plate 2 which has a first slide surface 21 formed; a metallic cylinder 3 which has a second slide surface 31 facing the first slide surface 21, formed on one end surface 32 of the metallic cylinder 3; and an ionic liquid 4 interposed between the first slide surface 21 and second slide surface 31. Here, the metallic flat plate 2 and the ionic liquid 4 constitute a slide member 5. The metallic flat plate 2 is formed using copper alloy (for example, high strength brass-based alloy), and the metallic cylinder 3 is formed using carbon steel(for example, S45C). Further, the ionic liquid 4 made of pyrrolidinium salt (for example, BMP-TFSI or IL-C1 manufactured by Koei Chemical Co., Ltd.) is used as the ionic liquid 4.
