Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional sliding contact member that the type of available materials is limited, or the cost increases.SOLUTION: A sliding contact member A1 includes a conductive first base material 10 having a surface layer 1 containing conductive carbon on the contact side with the mating member, and a conductive second base material 20 that is bonded to the opposite side from the surface layer 1 of the first base material 10, where the first base material 10 and second base material 20 relatively have a joining recess 11 and a joining protrusion 21 being caulked while engaging each other. Since a material of low heatproof temperature can be used in the second base material 20, and the first and second base materials 10, 20 can be joined under normal temperature, even a material of low heatproof temperature can be used in the majority of the base materials, thus achieving cost reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
