PURPOSE: To prevent mixture of slurry even when breakage occurs to a resilient film body by arranging one resilient film body to the other resilient film body in a state to be positioned facing each other in a non-contact state, forming a working liquid feed discharge chamber in the other resilient film body, and filling a gap between the two resilient film bodies with non-compressive fluid.
CONSTITUTION: Oil pumps 9 and 9' are operated by means of a control device 17 in a state to connect a slurry tank 12 and a filter press 16 to a forced feed device 1', and working liquid is fed and discharged between an oil tank 10 and a working liquid feed discharge chamber 5 through a switching valve 8. In which case, one resilient film body 4' is expanded and contracted and the other resilient film body 4 is expanded and contracted through non-compressive fluid. Thereby, slurry 13 in the slurry tank 12 is fed with a pressure to a filter press 16 through feed and discharge ports 15 and 15'. When breakage occurs to the other resilient film body 4, the slurry 13 is mixed in the non-compressive fluid and transparency of the non-compressive fluid is lowered, whereby lowering of the transparency is detected by means of photo sensors for nipples 18 and 18' to stop the forced feed of the slurry 13.
