PURPOSE: To obtain a light-weight, high strength snowslide-preventing net having high creeping resistance by using a molecule-oriented molded product of a super molecular weight ethylene polymer having a specific intrinsic viscosity.

CONSTITUTION: A snowslide-preventing net is formed of a molecule oriented molded product of a super molecular ethylene polymer having an intrinsic viscosity of at least 5dl/g. As the ethylene polymer, ethylene-alpha-olefinic copolymer containing 0.1-20(preferably 0.5-10) a 3 or more C alpha-olefin per 1000 carbon atoms is used. As the alpha-olefin, one or two or more selected from butene-1,4- methylpentene-1, hexene-1, octene-1, and decene-1 may be used.
