Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft polypropylene composition having a high flexibility, impact resistance, heat-sealing property and transparency.
SOLUTION: The titled composition contains (i) a propylene random copolymer which comprises from 90 to 99 mol% propylene structural unit (a), from 0.5 to 9 mol% ethylene structural unit (b) and, if required, from 0 to 9.5 mol% 4-20C α-olefin structural unit (c) and has an intrinsic viscosity [η], measured in decalin at 135°C, of from 0.5 to 6 dl/g, and (ii) a syndiotactic-structured propylene/ethylene copolymer which substantially has a syndiotactic structure and contains from 99 to 50 mol% propylene structural unit and from 1 to 50 mol% ethylene structural unit. Here, the weight ratio of (i) to (ii) is from 90/10 to 10/90.
