Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which enables an apparatus manufacturer of an IoT apparatus to update software that is packaged in the IoT apparatus, into a PUSH type securely.SOLUTION: A session management device 3 of a software update system 1 performs P2P connection with an IoT apparatus 2 that becomes a target of an update file 7, and transmits encrypted data 7a of the update file to the P2P-connected IoT apparatus 2. A hypervisor 20 in which a normal OS 21 and a secure OS 22 are separately operated is packaged in the IoT apparatus 2 of the software update system 1. The encrypted data 7a of the update file received from the session management device 3 by an application that operates on the normal OS 21, are decrypted by an application that operates on the secure OS 22, and the update file 7 obtained by the decryption is used to update the software of the IoT apparatus 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
