Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide agricultural and horticultural soil containing powder of specific porous calcium silicate hydrate and peat moss, having light weight and excellent water-permeability, air-permeability, fertilizer-retention and water retention, suitable for the growth of plant and useful for flowerpot, planter, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This agricultural and horticultural soil contain (A) powder or particle of a porous calcium silicate hydrate containing ≥50% of calcium in carbonated state and having particle diameter of preferably 0.5-5mm and (B) peat moss and preferably further (C) zeolite and/or phosphoric acid. The mixing volume ratio of the component A to the component B is preferably 1/(0.5-2).
