Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the drawback of a general structure for the seat section of a vehicle bottom plate: that because it is generally constructed of a planar section and a latticed ribbed section provided on the lower surface of the planar section, increasing the rigidity of the bottom plate of such a structure requires the thickness of the planar section or the thickness or width of the ribbed section to be increased, which will cause an increase in weight of the bottom plate, with the result that the vehicle cannot be made lightweight. SOLUTION: The seat section 30 of the bottom plate 50 of a vehicle seat includes a corrugated section 10 and a plurality of strips 13. The corrugated section 10 includes a plurality of projections and a plurality of recesses which are aligned alternately. The plurality of strips 13 are aligned, with the height of each strip 13 approximately coincident with the corrugating direction of the corrugated section 10. Each strip 13 intersects the plurality of projections and the plurality of recesses of the corrugated section 10. The corrugated section 10 and the plurality of strips 13 are integrally molded from resin.
