PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of an HCN gas and the like and to make a safety measure mechanism operate, by covering a capacitor element with a metallic thin plate equipped with a heating element layer which is molten at a temperature that is lower than the temperature of a decomposition point and is decomposed by heating, thereby bringing a fuse member into contact with the heating element layer.
CONSTITUTION: A winding type capacitor element 11 is made up not only by winding an anode foil which makes a high purity Al foil scabrous and is made by forming dielectric film after performing anode oxidation as well as a scabrous cathode Al foil through separators but also by using 7,7,8,8-tetracyano-quinodimethane (TCNQ) complex salt. An Al plate 12 is disposed between a cathode extension line 13 and an anode extension line 19 of the element 11 so that its plate comes into contact with the element 11. A heating element layer 20 is formed on the Al plate 12. Its layer is molten at a temperature which is lower than that of the decomposition point of TCNQ set and is decomposed by heating. A ribbon like fuse member 14 which consists of eutectic solder in such a way that its member comes into contact with the heating element layer 20 is welded. Then, the capacitor element with fuse is housed in a metallic case 16 and is sealed by a sealing resin 17.
