Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a supply heat quantity into a drying chamber appropriate by providing a control mode change means for changing the mode of the drive control of a heating means to a mode so that a heat quantity larger than before is supplied into the drying chamber in the case that a detected exit temperature becomes lower than a changeover reference temperature set beforehand.
SOLUTION: The entrance temperature and exit temperature of a rotary drum 4 are detected respectively by a drum entrance temperature sensor 8 and a drum exit temperature sensor 11. After starting the control of energizing to a heater 7 in a mode so that the drum entrance temperature is kept at (drum exit temperature + 10)°C, when the drum exit temperature becomes lower than a changeover reference temperature (42°C for instance) set beforehand, the mode of energizing control to the heater 7 is changed to a mode so as to keep the drum entrance temperature at a target lower limit temperature (52°C for instance) set beforehand. Thus, even when the drum exit temperature becomes low, by the evaporation of moisture contained in clothes, a large heat quantity is supplied into the rotary drum 4.
