To substantially completely remove solvent contained in clothes and solvent contained in air within a drying machine even in only the drying and recovery step by executing an operation in a mode in which the temperature of air after air passes a cooling means before may become low after prescribed time passes from the starting of the operation.
When clothes are stored within a rotating drum 4 and a drying operation is started, the rotating drum 4 and a fan 10 are revolved and a heater 7 and a cooler 13 are driven. At this time, an outside air inlet 17 is closed by a switching valve 18 and air is circulated in a circulating air course formed by a drying chamber 3 and a duct 9. At this time, the fan 10 is revolved at high speed till prescribed time passes. Next, at a point of time when prescribed time passes, rotating speed of the fan 10 is made low speed. As a result, the cooling degree of air by the cooler 13 is increased, solvent contained in the air circulating in the circulating air course is liquefied and the density of solvent containing in the air after passing the cooler 13 is gradually reduced.
