PURPOSE: To provide a sound insulation damping material with mica scales oriented in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the sheet, and having both good damping and sound insulation properties through filling of the mica scales even in the case of the sound insulation material having more thickness than a specific one.

CONSTITUTION: The sheet sound insulation damping material has mica scales filled in resin matrix, wherein calciums carbonate with a mean particle diameter of 1-80μ is filled together with mica scales in the resin matrix, and the calcium carbonate lies among the mica scales in interposed relation and the mica scales exist in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the sheet.
