To make it possible to form a spacer layer having excellent productivity by supplying a UV curing resin between a rotary stamper arranged to face the first reflection surface on a substrate and a first reflection layer and rotating the substrate and the rotary stamper at the time of crushing this resin between the substrate and the rotary stamper.
This spacer layer forming device has the stamper 107 which is arranged to face the low reflection film on the substrate 101 and a UV curing resin supplying machine 23 having a resin supplying nozzle 22 for supplying the liquid UV curing resin 103a between this stamper and the low reflection film. The substrate 101 and the stamper 107 are both rotated while the UV curing resin 103a is crushed by bringing the substrate 101 and the stamper 107 into pressurized contact with each other, by which the spacer layer consisting of the resin 103a is formed between the substrate 101 and the stamper 107. The resin 103a is nearly uniformly drawn to the inner side and outer side when the air between the substrate 101 and the stamper 107 is discharged as shown in Fig. 27 from the central side of rotation cooperatively with this operation, by which the distribution accuracy is improved and the spacer layer is easily formed.
