Title:
SPEAKER SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06205491
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a speaker system having a more compact and inexpensive Helmholtz resonator. CONSTITUTION: An enclosure 35 where a speaker 37 is stored is provided with plural tubes 43 for sound emission different by length to distribute a frequency at a resonance peak of an acoustic pressure level curve, and side walls 46 and 47 of these tubes 43 have aperture parts 63, which connect the insides of these tubes to common Helmholtz resonators 59 and 61 for the purpose of suppressing undesired resonance in tunes 43. This speaker system 33 can use a smaller Helmholtz resonator in comparison with sound emission through one tube because the resonance peak is distributed.
