Abstract:

To provide a speed-measuring system capable of acquiring high measurement accuracy, regardless of the shape of the flying object.

Image data of the flying object 100 are acquired by using as trigger a fine light quantity change generated, when the flying object 100 passes each light quantity change detecting parts 10, 20. The image data are analyzed, and a specific portion (for example, tip shape) of the flying object 100 is extracted. Then, time correction data at the timing of generation a light quantity change detecting pulse and at the time of passing of a detection point are generated, and based on the extracted image data, the speed of the flying object 100 is calculated, based on the correction data.
