Title:
SPEED SENSOR GEAR FOR VEHICULAR MAIN ELECTRIC MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013013263
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the generation of hoisting noise in a distal end of a speed sensor gear, which is rotated together with a rotor, included in a vehicular main electric motor including a speed sensor, and to reduce the generation of stirring heat in a lubricant caused by a stirring operation of the gear in the vehicular main electric motor in which a bearing is lubricated with the lubricant.

In an oil lubrication device for a vehicular main electric motor where inside an oil supply chamber including an oil storage chamber at a lower side, an oil scrape-up disc is provided which is rotated together with a rotor shaft and ruggedness or a tooth shape is formed along an outer circumference of the oil scrape-up disc as a speed sensor gear, intervals between the recesses or the teeth in the speed sensor gear is filled with a filler. The filler is a non-magnetic substance. Since the outer circumference of the speed sensor gear is made smooth in an arcuate shape, ruggedness along the outer circumference is eliminated, thereby suppressing the generation of hoisting noise caused by rotation of the speed sensor gear or the generation of stirring heat of a lubricant. Furthermore, since the non-magnetic substance is filled, rotations of the vehicular main electric motor can be detected as usual.
