Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machining method capable of forming a head-cut cone part consisting of a taper part having a contraction rate, which is larger than that of conventional, and a small-diameter straight pipe part, which is longer than that of conventional, from a work having a ratio (t/D) in thickness relatively to outer diameter of a pipe, which is smaller than that of conventional without reducing productivity, and to provide a cylindrical body having such head-cut cone part at an end part.SOLUTION: Subsequent to formation of a first head-cut cone part consisting of a small-diameter straight pipe part having a first length shorter than a predetermined target length and a taper part having a first taper angle smaller than a predetermined target taper angle, additional machining is executed on the first head-cut cone part to form a second head-cut cone part which is consisting of a small-diameter straight pipe part having a second length longer than the first length and a taper part having a second taper angle larger than the first taper angle. In the second step, a cycle is repeated, where a forming tool moves from a pipe end side to the pipe center side in axis direction of the small-diameter straight pipe part for elongating the length of the small-diameter straight pipe part and then increasing the taper angle of the taper part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
