Title:
SPORTS SHOES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58218903
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
The sports shoe, in particular for use for long-distance runs on hard and/or uneven tracks, roads or the like, is to be designed in such a manner that a sufficient support effect is ensured in the inner region of the shoe even with inclined and/or cambered tracks, roads or the like, that the feeling of the track contact is thus guaranteed even with such unfavourable but nevertheless very common track conditions. To this end, it is envisaged that outsole regions of different flexibility are present only in the heel (4) and possibly also in the ankle (9). In this connection, the arrangement is made in such a manner that the heel region and possibly also the ankle region (4, 9) begin with lower flexibility on the inside (14) of the outsole (2) and extend at most as far as the central plane (13) of the outsole, which runs through the longitudinal axis (11) of the sole.
