PURPOSE: To easily wipe hands by slightly gripping a towel only by inserting a plate spring having inwardly contracting action or resiliency into a bag having an in-out port as it is developed with both hands.

CONSTITUTION: A spring type hand towel comprises a bag 4 provided with an in-out port 5 for a plate spring 2, and the spring plate 2 having inwardly contracting action or resiliency which is inserted in it. For increasing soft feel, a sponge 6 is installed in part of the bag 4, and the plate spring 2 tightly enclosed in vinyl 3 waterproof property is enclosed in the bag 4. The bag 4 is formed of towel fabric which is capable of including water such as cotton, hemp, etc. Otherwise, material 13 in which fibers or other material 14 capable of including water is embedded is bound to the plate spring 2 by binding agent, or press-fitted to it to be used as the hand towel. A user is thus capable of easily wiping his hands even by one hand only, and the hands can be easily wiped even in the condition where both hands are apart from the towel.
