PURPOSE: To curve a stamper, and separate a disc substrate from the stamper by constituting a resin layer on the disc substrate of an elastic material flexible enough to separate itself from the stamper part.

CONSTITUTION: A glass plate 11 is manufactured, and photoresist 12 is applied to the glass plate, and then a stamper part 13 is formed on the plate 11. And, resin 15 is applied on the stamper part 13. A glass cloth 16 is mounted on the applied surface of the resin 15, and resin 17 is applied on the glass cloth 16, and the applied surface of the resin 17 is pressed by rollers in order to be flattened. Next, a nickel stamper part 13 and photoresist 12 are separated from each other for completing a stamper 20. The stamper 20 has a backing member 19 comprising each layer of the resin 15, glass cloth 16 and the resin 17. Ultraviolet-setting resin 22 is supplied around the center of the stamper 20, and a disc plate 21 is mounted thereon, and heating is performed thereto. Ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the ultraviolet-setting resin 22 by means of an ultraviolet lamp 25 for curing the resin. By curving the stamper 20, the stamper part 13 is separated from the resin 22.
