As the optical recording medium, in a recording medium in which a plurality of optical recording layers are laminated, at least one selected from the one-layer recessed/projected shapes of the optical recording layers is a recessed/projected shape having a depth of 30 nm or less, and a marker part recessed/projected shape separated from the marker part on its outer peripheral part and having a track pitch set in the range of 0.4 to 1.6 μm is formed in the marker part.
