PURPOSE: To enable a master to be peeled from a mother with a peeling member by providing a member pressing mechanism which has a wedge-shaped peeling member, slidably supports this peeling member and pushes the member into the stamper boundary between the master and the mother.
CONSTITUTION: This stamper peeling device 1 has the peeling member 2. The peeling member 2 consists of a wedge-shaped metal and a slope inclined at 45° is formed at this front end 3 of the peeling member 2. The peeling member 2 is held by a rod 4 and is slid by rotation of a handle 5. The stamper peeling device 1 peels the stamper 7 of the mother from the stamper 6 of the master in such a manner. In this case, a back lining member 8 of the stamper 6 of the master is held by a chucking mechanism and the peeling member 2 is projected by manually rotating the handle 5. The front end 3 of the peeling member 2 is pushed into the boundary between the stampers 6, 7 of the master and the mother and is moved toward the centers of the stampers 6, 7. The stamper 7 of the mother is consequently peeled from the stamper 6 of the master by the peeling member 2 and, therefore, the stamper 7 is peeled perpendicularly from the stamper 6 by holding a knob 10 and pulling up the knob.
