Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from idling down due to a drop in clutch clamping pressure at the initial stage of control starting as well as to make smooth starting attainable, by setting a control initial value in the above- captioned controller down to the initial value corresponding to an engine output equivalent signal just after the control starting. CONSTITUTION:A device, bearing the above caption, actuates and controls a clamping pressure control valve 3 installed in a hydraulic pressure feed passage 2 leading to a hydraulic starting clutch 1 installed in an automatic transmission with an actuator 4. And, there is provided with a controlling device 6 which outputs a control signal (c) raising clutch clamping pressure gradually when a signal (s) showing starting time is inputted out of an input sensor 5 to the actuator 4. In this case, the controlling device 6 is constituted to output the control signal (c) setting a control initial value down to the initial value corresponding to an engine equivalent signal (e) just after control starting. With this constitution, at the initial stage of control starting in case of suddenly stepping on an accelerator from an idling state, an engine is prevented from idling down due to a drop in the initial value of clutch clamping pressure.
