To provide an economically more advantageous thread guiding element in a series shed weaving machine.
This stationary thread guiding element has a plurality of concentrically extending grooves at an end face and is designed as a circular segment or a circular sector. Therefore, the production process of the stationary thread guiding element can be economically performed and replacement of the element due to wear can be simply and rapidly carried out.
