Abstract:
To provide a steel wire scale removal device which can completely perform scale removal processing on an entire steel wire with small contamination and high scale removal efficiency.SOLUTION: A steel wire scale removal device comprises: a plurality of first steel wire scale removing machines; and a plurality of second steel wire scale removing machines. Scale brake rolls for removing a scale on a surface of the steel wire are provided in the first steel wire scale removing machines and the second steel wire scale removing machines. The scale brake roll polishes the surface of the steel wire with rotation. The scale brake roll of the first steel wire scale removing machine is provided in an inclined manner. The scale brake roll of the second steel wire scale removing machine is provided in a horizontal manner. Scale removal without a dead angle of the steel wire is realized by a combination of the inclined polish for polishing the steel wire with the first steel wire scale removing machine in an inclined manner and the horizontal polish for polishing the steel wire with the second steel wire scale removing machine in a horizontal manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
