Abstract:
To improve safety and convenience.SOLUTION: When there is detected an approaching vehicle having a probability of abnormally approaching an own vehicle if LCA is continued, a driving assist ECU terminates the LCA and executes yaw angle return control for quickly returning the yaw angle of the own vehicle to zero (S42-S44). Next, the driving assist ECU 10 determines whether or not a lane change is about to be completed (S45). When the lane change is not about to be completed, the driving assist ECU 10 executes steering control so as to return the own vehicle to an original lane (S46). When the lane change is about to be completed, the driving assist ECU 10 executes steering control so that the lateral speed of the own vehicle is maintained at zero (S47).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
