PURPOSE: To provide a stereoscopic endoscope device which can set a convergence angle according to the focusing position of an observed substance.
CONSTITUTION: An adapter 5 is cylindrical and provided with a male screw 30 on the inside wall. On the other hand, a female screw 31 screwed to the screw 30 is provided on the outer periphery of the tip of an insertion part 2. Therefore, the adapter 5 is fixed to the tip of the insertion part 2 so as to be freely attached and detached by screwing the screws 30 and 31. An adapter lens 32 is fixed on the tip side of the adapter 5. Besides, the lens 32 is the body to be rotated around the center axis of the insertion part 2 having an incident surface provided with a prescribed angle ψ with respect to an optical axis. Moreover, it exerts the equal converting effect of a visual field direction on two objective lens systems 6a and 6b in the insertion part 2.
