Abstract:
To provide a stop mark inspection method for a loom and a stop mark inspection apparatus for a loom which, by a single image-capturing operation, can detect a normal pitch and can inspect the presence or absence of a stop mark with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An image of a woven fabric W is captured such that there is included, in an image-capturing range, a weaving restart yarn Ys which, among weft yarns Y in the woven fabric W, is a weft yarn subjected to weft insertion when weaving is restarted after the stop of a loom. Then, a normal pitch of the weft yarns Y is calculated from a first image region E1 separated by a prescribed distance L from the weaving restart yarn Ys to a woven fabric-winding side in a captured image S of the woven fabric W, and the presence or absence of a stop mark in the woven fabric W is determined by comparing a pitch of the weft yarns in a second image region E2 including the weaving restart yarn Ys with the normal pitch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
