PURPOSE: To make it possible to control the hot water temperature simply as desired by the operation of one knob and improve the easiness of use by changing the area of opening of an open section provided in a valve body by the rotation of the valve shaft and controlling the flow rates to the water side distribution port and hot water side distribution port.
CONSTITUTION: When a valve shaft 13 is rotated and a movable valve body 16 is positioned to a state E, a distribution port on the hot water side which is provided in a valve box 12 is opened and water is supplied into a hot water storage tank 2 through a branch pipe 9 on the hot water side. When the valve. shaft 13 is rotated and the movable valve body 16 is positioned in the state C, distribution ports on the water side and on the hot water side are closed and the water supply is stopped. Next, a heater 3 is energized to make the water in a hot water storage tank 2 hot water. When the valve shaft 13 is rotated and the movable valve body 16 is adjusted between from the state D to the state E, the ratio of distribution of the water to the distribution port 14 on the water side and distribution port 15 on the hot water side changes. The water that was led to the inside of the distribution port 15 on the hot water side passes through a branch pipe 9 on the hot water side and pushes up the hot water to discharge the hot water from the upper section of the hot water storage tank 2. And, the water passes through a branch pipe 10 on the water side and is mixed with the hot water out of the hot water storage tank 2 and supplied from a supply hot water faucet 11 at a suitable temperature.
