PURPOSE: To compactly store articles and easily extract them by adjacently arranging multiple shelves movably back and forth on the floor surface of the rear line, adjacently arranging multiple shelves less than the shelves on the rear line by one movably in the right and left directions on the floor surface of the front line, and providing a space section for extracting one shelf of the rear line on the front line.

CONSTITUTION: Four shelves 3 having the same shape in width and depth are adjacently arranged on the floor surface 2 of the rear line in the storage space 1, and three shelves 4 less than four shelves 3 by one and having nearly the same shape as that of the shelves 3 are adjacently arranged on the floor surface of the front line, for example. A space section 5 for one shelf 4 is provided at the left end section of the front line. The right and left guide rails 6 are provided at the positions corresponding to each shelf 3 on the floor surface of the rear line, door rollers 7 are provided on the rear side of each shelf 3 to travel on the guide rails 6, and door rollers 8 are provided on the front side for traveling. A guide rail 9 is installed in the right and left directions on the front side of the floor surface of the front line, and door rollers 10, 11 are fitted on one front and rear sides of each shelf 4. The adjacent shelf 4 is moved to the space section, and the shelf 3 on the rear line is extracted.
