PURPOSE: To shorten a shelf assembling time for a storage shelf in an automatic warehouse by arranging plural number of engaging parts in a pillar side surface part and engaging pieces in a shelf plate respectively so that the engaging pieces can be engaged with and disengaged from the engaging parts.

CONSTITUTION: Engaging parts 1 are installed in a prescribed portions of a side surface part 10a of a pillar 10. Step parts la are arranged in this engaging part 1, and when it is installed on the pillar 10, a hollow part 1b is set to be formed between it and the pillar 10. Meanwhile, engaging pieces 3 and 3 are formed in the right and left end parts of one side of a shelf plate 2 so as to be bent in the lower direction. These engaging pieces 3 and 3 are engaged with the hollow parts 1b of the engaging parts 1 of the pillar 10 so that the shelf plate 2 can be fitted between shelves 10 and 10.
