PURPOSE: To improve the working environment and to reduce public pollution by a method wherein, in the case of the captioned storage tank for storing heat collecting water at a high temperature, the section of the tank exposed to the heat collecting water is formed of a FRP material consisting of an odorless and low volatility diallyl phthalate epoxyacrylate resin material.
CONSTITUTION: In the storage tank used in the solar heat utilizing system and adopted to store the heat collecting water at a high temperature, the section of the tank contacting with the water is formed of the FRP material consisting of diallyl phthalate epoxyacrylate resin. In this case, one or more than two kinds of diallyl phthalate and other monomers are used as diphthalate monomers and esters produced by reacting an acrylic acid various kinds of epoxy resins are used for producing the epoxyacrylate resin. The above mentioned FRP material is not required to be heated at the time of processing and has a low rate of volatility with the additional advantage of giving out no offensive odor so that the working environment can be improved and an effective measure is taken to prevent public pollution.
