To provide a storage water heater that can provide a hot/cold shower with stable fluctuations in temperature by using hot water in a hot water storage tank to take the hot/cold shower, and has excellent usability.
A storage water heater that comprises: heating means 1; a hot water storage tank 11 that stores hot water heated by the heating means 1; a mixing valve 4 that mixes hot water from the hot water storage tank 11 and water with a temperature lower than that of the hot water to adjust the temperature of hot water to be supplied; a control device 9; and an operation mode in which the control device 9 changes the mixing ratio of the mixing valve 4 to repeatedly increase or decrease the temperature of hot water to be supplied. When a plurality of hot water supply terminals 7 and 8 are opened during the operation of the operation mode, hot water mixed by the mixing valve 4 and repeatedly increasing or decreasing in temperature is simultaneously supplied from the plurality of hot water supply terminals 7 and 8. Thereby, an operation mode with stable fluctuations in temperature is achieved by using hot water stored at a predetermined temperature in the hot water storage tank 11 to perform the operation mode.
