A communication terminal 1 with a screen designates the keyword and area of a store to be retrieved, and requests an information retrieving and displaying server 2 to retrieve the store. An information notification control means 5 of the information retrieving and displaying server 2 acquires the store name and latitude/longitude as the store information from a store information DB 1 by using the keyword, and a map display control means 6 acquires the map image data of the area as map information from an area map information DB 3, and an information notification controlling means 5 transmits display data in which the position of the store is arranged from the latitude/longitude on a single map image to the communication terminal 1 with a screen.
