A broadloom cloth is woven by using a yarn-dyed or piece-dyed stretch yarn as the warp and/or weft and the woven cloth is parallelly cut with heat to obtain woven tapes. Molten fiber parts are formed at both edges of the tape by heat-cutting and the tape is stretchable to an extent in the longitudinal direction.
