Abstract:
To provide a stretched hollow molded product of a thermoplastic polyester resin having high mechanical properties, gas barrier property, heat resistance and transparency.
The stretched hollow molded product is obtained from a polyester composition containing from 95 to 60 wt.% of a thermoplastic resin polyester (A) wherein the main repeating unit is ethylene terephthalate, and 5 to 40 wt.% of a thermoplastic polyester resin (B) wherein the main repeating unit is ethylene naphthalate. Here, the intrinsic viscosity of the hollow molded product is from 0.60 to 0.85 dl/g and the deformation rate of the body of the hollow molded product at 40°C is 2.0% or smaller.
