Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a lever part from receiving an excess load by applying the inertia of mass damper generated at the time of rotating a lever to a straight line connecting the rotational center of the lever and the center of a cable connecting part. CONSTITUTION:The mass damper 5 is fixed to the upper side of the lever 1 on the position slightly shifted from the cable connection part to the center side. The mass damper 5 is arranged on the lever 1 so that the center G of gravity of the mass damper 5 is positioned on the straight line L connecting the rotational center P of the lever 1 and the center Q of the cable connection part 6. Since the inertia of the mass damper 5 is always applied to the straight line L, the inertia does not acts as moment around the straight line L. Thereby, the inertia of the mass damper 5 does not act as a load in the twisting direction of a part A close to the rotational center P of the lever 1 and the durability and the sense of touch is operation of the accelerator pedal cam be improved.
