Abstract:

To provide a structure and method capable of facilitating the adjustment of a tilt angle for a rear axle in order to set a crossing angle between a propeller shaft and the rear axle within a proper angle range.

This tilt angle adjusting structure has an upper radius rod 20b jointing a vehicle body side member with an upper portion at the roughly center portion in a vehicle width direction of a rear front axle 14 of a trunnion suspension device 1 with the rear two axes to be extended in a vehicle body front/rear direction, and lower radius rods 20a, 20c jointing the vehicle body side member with the lower portion of the rear front axle 14. Spacers 100, 110 are intervened at least between the upper radius rod 20b and the vehicle body side member or between the upper radius rod 20b and the rear front axle 14, thus adjusting the tilt angle for the front/rear axle 14.
