To provide a strut which is erected easily and conveyed easily and further of which the design range is wide especially, and an erection method of the strut.

A strut 1 is used for suspending and spreading a net for preventing a ball or a tent sheet along a spatial part. The strut 1 is formed from a lower strut 2 of which the lower end side is buried underground and in which a joint is formed at an upper end side, and an upper strut 3 coupled to the lower strut 2. The lower strut 2 is configured by combining a steel pipe pile, a concrete PC pile or iron pile and the upper strut 3 is configured by combining a steel pipe pole, a concrete pole or an iron pole.
