Title:
SUBLIMATING TYPE PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06179265
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a reduction of a printing time and free setting of the size of photographic paper, by a method wherein an evaporating part for evaporating evaporating dyes by evaporating heat is provided and the evaporated evaporating dyes are allowed to adhere to the photographic paper.

CONSTITUTION: A sublimting type printer is constituted of a min body part 10 formed of polyimide, dye tanks 11, 12, 13 holding evaporating dyes under a powdery state, introducing parts 14, 15, 16 leading the evaporating dyes by liquefying the same by melting up to the melting point and the evaporating parts 17, 18, 19 evaporating the liquefied evaporating dyes by evaporating heat by laser beams. The evaporated evaporating dyes are clad to photographic paper 21 through an evaporation hole provided in the bottom part of dents 20 for accumulation of paints of evaporating parts 17, 18, 19. The laser beams are applied respectively to the evaporating parts 17, 18, 19 through a laser beam generating part for the evaporating dyes like arrows 35, 36, 37. The laser beams are applied to a transparent part 22 formed of a glass material having favorable optical transmission as indicated an arrow 38.
