To provide a suction tool for a vacuum cleaner which can facilitate quick engagement between a dust removing claw part of a dust remover and a groove part of a rotary brush and smoothly insert the rotary brush when inserting the rotary brush into a case part while engaging the rotary brush with the dust remover.
The suction tool for a vacuum cleaner includes: the rotary brush having a cylindrical member formed with the plurality of helical groove parts in the periphery thereof; the case part provided with a suction port on a bottom surface thereof, rotatably storing the rotary brush in the inside, and attachable and detachable by moving the rotary brush in an axial direction through an opening on one side surface; a ring-shaped dust removing tool rotatably provided in the same axis as the rotary brush inside the suction port; the dust removing claw part provided in an inner periphery of the dust removing tool and projecting opposite to the opening side for engaging with the groove part; and a tapered rib with a shape of gradually narrowing toward the opening smoothly and continuously provided with the dust removing claw part in the inner periphery of the dust removing tool.
