In this case, steam jetted from the iron is sucked through a cover 3 and a mat 2, and exhausted to the exhaust port 8 from the suction port 6. In this case, even if the iron is placed horizontally on the placing stand 4 and the placing stand 4 is heated, since exhaust of a fan 10 is fed toward the placing stand 4 from the exhaust port 8, the placing stand 4 is cooled by the exhaust.
